


Marco's
Hello! We are a father and son catering duo: Angelo and Marco.
Angelo: Originally from the beautiful island of Sardinia, off the coast of Italy, I moved to the UK in 1985 to work as a pizza chef for my uncle in York, before running a successful Italian restaurant in Selby for over 20 years with my wife. Having worked in restaurant kitchens all my life, I wanted a new challenge and that’s where the idea of teaming up with Marco to run a mobile catering company was born.
Marco: Having grown up with parents who ran a successful restaurant, Italian cuisine was my passion but stepping into their shoes was not. I therefore took a different route and went into butchery before the lure of Italian pizzas took over and we discussed a partnership in the form of Marco’s.
